Moving man…don’t do it. Like, ever. Especially with two small children. Holy cats. WORST.
Our first night in the place was pretty terrible. Neighbour-related and I’ll leave it at that. Suffice it to say we’ll be blowing in some soundproofing. So, that sucked.
Things have been steadily improving and unpacking is coming along. I’m giving myself a deadline of May 1 to be done, excluding the basement. So obviously I’ll just be throwing everything down those terrifying stairs.
One of the pluses of moving (for me at least) is no food in the house! As such, you are forced to go out. After our quest for fancy pizza was thwarted, we ended up at a pho place we have always wanted to try. HGB will reliably eat tofu, carrots, noodles, and LIVES for soup so pho is a perfect food for him. Minus the cilantro, of course.
